The Bowling Association for the Disabled (Singapore)

BADS in short, is a Non-Profit & National Disability Sports Association (NDSA) registered with the Registry of Societies in April 2010. It is affiliated to the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) and is registered as an Institution of a Public Character (IPC) with approval to issue tax-exempted receipts to its donors.
BADS is set up with main objective of bringing bowling to all people with impairment in Singapore. We organise and coordinate all bowling activities which will eventually lead to the selection and training of an elite team to represent Singapore in international competitions.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2026

Dear Members, Parents & Guardians,
We would like to warmly invite you to the BADS’ 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at 11.00am at Earth Room, Level 2 at the Civil Service Club, 60 Tessensohn Road, Singapore 217664. You can get there by taking the lift from the main lobby to the 2nd floor.
If you wish to attend the AGM, please register your attendance for the AGM via this link, https://forms.gle/FFVZA2ySyhdK3TaWA, by Friday, 28 August 2026, 8.00pm. Lunch will be served after the conclusion of the AGM.

If you wish to place an item on the agenda, please write to the General Secretary at admin@bads.org.sg by Saturday, 29 August 2026, 8.00pm in accordance with our Constitution. The Management Committee will not entertain any matter, outside of the agenda, raised by members on the day of the AGM if no written notice has been received within the stipulated date.

SINGAPORE — Para-bowler Eric Foo emerged as the biggest winner at the annual Singapore Disability Sports Awards on Friday (7 August), clinching both the Sportsman of the Year title and the Team of the Year honours with Muhammad Farhan Ismail.
The 34-year-old, who has intellectual impairment, capped a stellar year which saw him winning two golds and a silver at the 2019 Thailand World Para Bowling Championships, and then repeating the feat at the 2019 Philippines World Para Bowling Championships.
